Maine Heating Fuel Prices Holding Steady

The nights are growing colder and longer, but Mainers aren't seeing a huge seasonal spike in heating oil prices.

The latest weekly price survey from the Governor's Energy Office showed that the average statewide price of $3.53 per gallon for number 2 heating oil and $3.94 per gallon for kerosene. Both oil and kerosene prices remained the same as last week.

The average of $2.70 for a gallon of propane rose by two cents from last week.
