Maine Lobster Festival Starts Today

Start melting the butter and break out those funny little bibs, the 66th annual Maine Lobster Festival starts today at noon in Rockland. It's five days of great lobster, music, rides and much more!The Maine Lobster Festival attracts around 100,000 visitors each year and they enjoy about 20,000 pounds of lobster, yummy!

Besides all of the great food, the festival will feature the parade on Saturday, August 3rd at 10 a.m., plenty of local bands and the national rock band, The Spin Doctors and 70's teen icon, David Cassidy! There will be tours of the U.S. Coast Guard Station, carnival rides and the lobster crate race.
