Meteorologists at WATE-TV posted this video that shows how to combine water and isopropyl rubbing alcohol into a solution that will never freeze, so you can even keep it in the car! It's not hot water, so it won't damage your windshield in the cold air. It's just a simple solution that you can use to instantly defrost the ice from your car.
