Mainer in a Commercial With Bradley Cooper

Erica Lacasse from Lewiston is in a commercial with movie star Bradley Cooper. She was to turn and embrace him but she said she just went for it.

Cooper plays an American Airline pilot Lacasse said during the third or fourth take she turned and found herself face to face with Cooper so she 'hugged' him. They caught the hug on film and decided to use it in the commercial.

The commercial is to promote American Airlines June campaign to raise money for cancer research. According to sunjournal.com the spot will run through June.

Lacasse, who at 28 is battling cancer is a customer service agent for American Airlines at the Portland International Jetport and is one of just six American Airlines employees prominently featured in the fundraising commercial.
