Man Shoots Himself in Foot…Twice!
Adam Hirtle of Colorado Springs wanted to know what it would feel like being shot. I guess his curiosity got the better of him because Wednesday night he shot himself in the foot. Not once, but twice.
He used a .22 caliber handgun to shoot himself. He pulled his boot off, pulled the trigger and put a hole in his foot. Hirtle then put his boot back on and shot his foot again. He wanted to see if there was a difference with the boot on and off. The answer to that is unknown.
His wounds are not life threating but he was charged with reckless endangerment and child abuse, because there were children nearby when he fired his weapon.
