Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett made Forbes magazine’s 30 under 30 list. They were both picked for the honor in the music category (obviously). Morris was noted because of her Grammy and Best New Artist Grammy nominations. Rhett was on the list because his album, Life Changes, debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart which was the first country album to do so this year.

Carrie Underwood’s broken wrist will keep her from getting into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame this week. On tasteofcountry.com they explain since she can’t make it to the ceremony, she forfeits the honor. She will be eligible again in 2018 but it’s not guaranteed she will be considered for induction. Hall of Fame President, Shannon L. Rich, says they are sure she will be considered for future induction. Underwood is scheduled to co-host a 60th anniversary Grammy special on Friday, November 24th on CBS.

Bryan said his first reaction was one of disbelief, confusion, anger and finally acceptance. On tasteofcountry Bryan, after a few seconds of silence, said: Blake Shelton. Sexiest man alive? I’m speechless.
