Meet Sarah’s Hatchimal – It’s Like A Furby…But Not

Last week, I shared with you the excitement of watching our Hatchimal crack through its egg shell.  Hatchimals are one of the most sought after Christmas toys that's on most kids lists...and sending parents into a worry frenzy trying to find one.  Are they worth the hype?  Meet Draggie the Dragon!

He's cute, but I haven't quite figured out what the overall 'goal' is.  He cries.  He gets mad.  He shows excitement.  Wee.  But I have 6 kids who all do that.  Draggie is almost a week old and my daughter...who had to have one for her Birthday...is little to zero interest in him.  In fact, she only showed interest the moment I decided to take him to work (which infuriated her).  But, 99% of the time, he's turned off because she doesn't want to 'waste the batteries' and he sits on a shelf.  Chloe is 7.

So...am I happy I fought crowds to get this $50 critter?  Nope, not really.  But that's what we do as parents...get our kids what they want.
