There are a lot of Memorial Day celebrations in the Central Maine area for Monday, May 30th. Old Fort Western in Augusta will have a celebration beginning at 10 a.m. but there are more.

Memorial Day parade in Fairfield at 11 a.m. starting at the community center.

Hallowell will hold a parade hosted by American Legion Post 6 from 9 to noon.

In Monmouth, American Legion post 204 hosts a parade and ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. at the Veterans Monument.

A Memorial Day Parade and dedication is set for 10 a.m. in Sydney. Held at the town hall and lasting about an hour.

Wayne, Maine (you always have to say wayne maine) the Memorial Day ceremony will focus on honoring veterans and a parade at 11 a.m. Assembly at the Wayne Community Church at 10:15 a.m.

The Whitefield Historical Society will host a Memorial Day program at the Whitefield Town House.

Somerville has a Memorial Day Service set for 8:30 a.m. at Sand Hill Cemetery.
