Men Buy Underwear Every Seven Years
A survey done in Great Britain says men, on average, keep their underwear for seven years. Not really earth-shattering news to most men and even though it’s an English study, it probably holds true for most of the so called ‘civilized’ world.
The news does have fashion designers saying men need some serious help in the fashion department and personal hygiene department. Most men will hold onto and wear underwear that have holes in them rather than shop for new ones. The most disturbing part of the study is the fact that 22% of men admit to wearing the same pair of underwear for two or three days in row.
One out of seven men admitted they will wear their partner’s underwear if they can’t find a clean pair of their own and 50% of men use the smell test to see if their underwear are wearable.
