Michael Phelps Swimming Center in Maine Closing

The most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps owns the Michael Phelps Skill Center in Saco.

It a one-of-a-kind swimming center that will close after 5 years of service. The decision to close the center is not a popular one amount the community. The 5 year contract is coming to an end and a new lease wasn't worked out so this Saturday will be the last day of business.

Representatives from the Michael Phelps Skill Center were not available for comment, but on newscentermaine.com they did send an e-mail out to all of their customers to tell them of the closing earlier this week.
