The NFL 2014 Draft was held over the weekend in New York City. History was made, as the first openly gay football player, University of Missouri defensive end, Michael Sam was drafted in the seventh round by the St. Louis Rams.

ESPN, had coverage of the NFL Draft, and when Michael Sam was drafted, they cut to were Michael Sam and friends were celebrating him being selected by the Rams.

A very emotional Sam was on the phone with representatives from the Rams and then it happened, the kiss, actually a few kisses, that has been the talk on sports radio this weekend.

I was listening to a sports talk show this weekend and it seems like that kiss between Sam and his partner was the talk of the day. Some fans were happy to witness the reaction and some were angry that it was aired on television.

What do you think? Here's a video clip from what aired on ESPN.
