When I heard this morning that the Farm Bill had been passed, I thought it was great for the farmers.

But when I heard that the price of milk was going up 20%, I had a bad feeling in my stomach.

How can anyone afford $5.40 a gallon for milk?

Thanks to my friends on Facebook I found this really neat site. It shows farms in Maine that sell fresh milk and milk products. There are places everywhere! You're sure to find one near you.

I was amazed to find Mozzarella, Monterey Jack, Cheddar, Blue, Feta and Ricotta cheese made right here in Maine! There are some farms that pasteurize their milk, too, so it's not just raw milk.

Take a look at Dairy Direct 2 You. See if there is a place near you. I'm sure there are planty more they should add to the list!
