I think we have all watched the PBS show 'Antiques Roadshow' and we see people bring items in for professional appraisers tell the person how much their treasure is worth. What if that appraiser told you your item was valued at one million dollars!

That's what happened at a recent taping of the show in New York City.

A collection of rare baseball memorabilia from the 1872 Boston Red Stockings, the collection included baseball cards, signatures, letters and photographs.

The collection was a family heirloom that the owner inherited from her great-great grandmother, who had overseen a Boston boarding house that the baseball team called home in 1871 and 1872.

So take a look around your house, maybe that rare coin you think could be worth some money really is. Maybe that painting that has been in your family is worth thousands? Good luck!
