Motorcyclists, Get Ready for a Quiet New Ride: Introducing, the Electric Harley Davidson [Video]

When you think of quiet rides, a motorcycle isn't the first thing that comes to mind. Enter the electric Harley Davidson, which will be introduced in New York this week!

"Project Livewire," is what the initiative is called. The electric motor is rated for 53 miles on a single charge and the bike is electronically limited to 92 (coincidence?) miles per hour. Oh, it'll go from zero to sixty in four seconds.

While the bike won't be widely available for a couple of years, it will be making a tour of Harley dealerships, so watch (don't listen) for it, coming to a town near you!
