National Dog Day – Let’s Help This Dog Find A Home

Paul, the shepherd/collie mix, has made his way to Maine from Cairo, Egypt!!  Once stray and roaming the streets, Paul is  now in a foster home thanks to the help of Almost Home Rescue of Maine.  But, let's help him get all the way there and find his furever home!

According to Petfinder.com:

Paul is a 4-5 yr old small Shepherd mix who only weights about 50 lbs. He has been surrendered to Almost Home so he can find a good life in Maine. He is originally from Egypt and arrived in the US just a couple of weeks ago. He is friendly with all people and all dogs. He has never been around cats or children but we expect he would be fine with both. Paul definitely takes his cues from other dogs so we would like him adopted into a home with a another dog.

Update from foster: He is great on a leash but needs a leader in life. He does best in quiet calm environments. Rides great in vehicles. Loves to play with other dogs. Gets a little scared at night, may be due to living on streets in Egypt. Does fine left alone in the house. Tends to bark when he doesn't feel safe. He is extremely loyal. He also loves being around other dogs and would love to have a buddy to play with.
