New Hampshire Man Shoots Self in the Knee While Sleepwalking

There was only one witness to the shooting and it was the person that shot himself while sleepwalking. A Concord, New Hampshire, man woke up startled by a dream of a gunshot. The thing was he was in his kitchen, sleepwalking when he awoke.

The man’s name is being withheld but as he was sleepwalking, for unknown reasons, he carried his gun into the kitchen and shot himself in the knee. Once he realized he was injured, he called 911 and was taken to the hospital.

Concord Police Chief John Duval said this is just another reason people that own handguns should put them in a secure location because you never know when they may go off.
