New Kennebec County Superior Court House is Growing Fast

I drive by the site of the new Kennebec County Superior Court House in Augusta almost every day and it is amazing how quickly it is going up.

The historic old court building is staying.  The new addition is going behind and will provide not more functional room and bring it up to required guidelines for access.

What I find shocking is how BIG it will be. It was interesting earlier this year when one would drive down Winthrop Street, you could see the bridge and across the river. That view was quickly gone as the started to build.  I am interested to see what the end result will look like.
