New Post-Apocalyptic Zorro Movie in the Works
The Zorro movie franchise goes back a long way, 1920 in fact, including two recent movies, 1998’s The Mask of Zorro and the sequel, The Legend of Zorro. The Zorro franchise will get a reboot set in a post-apocalyptic future.
The new movie will be called ‘Zorro Reborn’ and will be the first scifi Zorro movie. The traditional stories cast Zorro as a hero of peasants and farmers who fought against corrupt and brutal officials of Spanish-held California. Reborn is set in the near future but keeps the idea of a masked and caped stranger taking on tyrants.
Filming for the newest Zorro movie is expected to begin in 2016.
