Tim McGraw's new album, 'Sundown Heaven Town', has a new song on it called 'Portland, Maine'. The song lyrics are rubbing some Portland, Maine residents the wrong way.

The song, 'Portland, Maine' is a song about a woman leaving him behind to go to Portland. I hear it as a break up song, with the singer wondering why the relationship is ending.

What is bothering some Portland residents is this line in the song:

'Portland, Maine, I don't know where that is
Leave your bags in the car, keep it running
I won't pretend, I don't want these things
But Portland, Maine, I don't know where that is
I don't want to know, I don't want to know'

The Portland Area Convention and Visitors Bureau isn't taking the message of the song to heart. They are planning a social media campaign to generate buzz about the song about Portland.

Tim McGraw has only played a concert in Portland once in 1998 and was in Bangor this past spring.

Here's the song, tell us what you think!
