It costs bi bucks money to park a car in New York City and a private parking garage costs even more. The city’s first million dollar parking space is now up for sale. It’s in a private garage a 66E.11th St.

The cost of ‘just’ a parking space is six times more than the national average of a single family ‘home’. They say the parking space is for someone who wants complete privacy; you can drive in and not be seen, perfect for a business person or celebrity that is camera shy.

The million dollar parking space measures 12 feet wide by 23 feet long and is high enough for the owner to put in a lift so they can piggyback two cars.

To give you an idea of the price of this parking space; it costs $115 a day, in fines, for illegal parking in Manhattan, it would take 24 years of illegal parking to make it to the one million dollar mark.
