Do you have someone near and dear to your heart that you consider to be a hometown hero?  Then click here to nominate them.  Be sure to include a picture!

A hometown hero can be anybody who you feel makes a difference within their community.  A teacher, a neighbor, someone in the military, a fireman, paramedic, a volunteer.  The list could go on and on.  Let your hero know they are a hero and nominate them.  They deserve the recognition.

My unofficial nomination goes to my mother, Lynn Merrill.  This summer, she climbed Katahdin.  Simple enough, right?  But, she's blind.  I can't express how proud I am of her.  You can watch her story, from Bill Green's Maine.  Her next item on her Bucket List: Canoeing the Allagash Wilderness Waterway.  Oy Vey!

B98.5 and HS Builders salute our hometown heroes!
