North Texas Town Offers Target Practice From a Helicopter
Could it get any cooler, target practice from a helicopter! Dan Claassen of Helicopter Sniper Adventures in North Texas has taken target practice to the extreme. For $795 a fire-flight fight is available that includes a safety class, awards ceremony and a free lunch. Claassen says the flights are about 15 minutes but it’s long enough to get off about 500 rounds.
Everything is totally safe and fully legal under Federal Aviation Administration and local laws. The small town of Aubrey in North Texas didn’t know about the flights until the heard airborne shooting of assault rifles but the noise is kept to a minimum using the world’s safest and quietest helicopters and their not hitting targets every day.
