UPDATE- 11:55AM-According to the Maine Department of Public Safety, one northbound lane just reopened in Augusta at the site of a tractor trailer crash this morning on I-95.  The road had been shut down for about an hour to remove the wreckage.   The second northbound lane should be open by 1pm, after some final cleanup.

A tractor trailer carrying US mail has overturned at mile 114 northbound on I-95. One lane of travel is currently open. Motorists should expect delays.
According to the Maine Department of Transportation, crews at the scene continue to wait for another federal truck to arrive so the off-loading of the cargo can begin. Once the load is transferred, the overturned truck will be set upright. During that process, State Police will close both lanes of travel northbound until the truck can be safely towed away.

The detour will direct traffic to Exit 113 onto Route 104 then back to I-95 at Exit 120.

While the closure isn't expected to last long, motorists are advised of long delays.
