Daytime dramas have been becoming fewer and fewer over the past several years. As 2012 comes to a close, there are only four soaps left on network television. On CBS, it's the Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. NBC is still airing Days Of Our Lives and ABC is down to one with General Hospital. ABC recently cancelled longtime soaps, All My Children and One Life To Live and both have been rumored to return online with the production studio Prospect Park. Those rumors fell through at this time last year but they have been renewed.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Jennifer Pepperman has been named the new showrunner for One Life To Live. This is seen as another step that One Life To Live is close to coming back. That could mean that Clint and Vicki, Bo and Nora and the rest of the residents of Llandview could be back online!

Prospect Park signed deals with the actors and director guilds to begin production on both One Life To Live and All My Children in the first quarter of 2013.
