O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Buys ‘The Parts Side’ Of VIP Parts, Tires And Service

Maine based VIP Parts, Tires & Service is selling the parts side of the business to O'Reilly's Auto Parts. The purchase agreement with VIP is expected to close by the end of December.

O'Reilly's has stores in 39 states but none in New England. VIP has 56 stores in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Current parts employees with VIP will become O'Reilly employees. O'Reilly will operate inside existing VIP stores and VIP will still offer tire sales and service. Look for new signs early next year.
