Pat Gallant Charette Breaks Another Record

She did again, broke another record, this time swimming the English Channel. From Westbrook, Maine, Pat Gallant-Charette, said an opening came to swim the channel so she decided to do it.

Less than a month ago Gallant-Charette swam across the Kaiwi Channel in Hawaii.

Gallant-Cherette swam in water that was chilly and the currents were strong but according to bangordailynews.com she made it across the channel to become the oldest woman to ever swim the English Channel. She is 66 years old.
