With the Patriots getting ready for their first preseason game on the 2016 season, Julian Edelman left Tuesday's practice after suffering another leg injury.

The Patriots got some positive news a short time later as tests showed that Edelman did not suffer a setback in his return from foot surgery. Edelman injured himself during a one-on-one drill, and then took himself off the field and after being examined by Patriots trainers on the field, walked off under his own power.

The good news is that Edelman returned to practice today (wed) catching passes and leaving his feet cleanly. The patriots say they are not worried that the practice injury will keep Edelman off the field, especially for the beginning of the regular season.
