Even though you’re not the Super Bowl MVP, it still pays to be the Super Bowl hero. New England Patriots Malcolm Butler was the hero of the Pats win over Seattle, and he has turned in to some kind of celebrity.

This past Saturday, his hometown on Vicksburg, Mississippi, held a big parade for their hometown hero. The parade had 70 entrees including floats, marching bands and more.

Vicksburg is a town of about 25,000 and hundreds of people lined-up to see the parade and meet-and-greet with Butler. He has been on a ‘celebrity-role’ since intercepting the pass that won the game for New England. He has appeared on the Today Show, The Tonight Show and presented an award at the Grammys.

Despite all the attention, Butler says, at the end of the day, he’s still the same person he has always been, big play in a big game, or not.
