Pats Re-Sign UMaine’s Johnson

The New England Patriots have re-signed former UMaine Black Bear wide receiver Derrick Johnson. Patriots training camp begins next week.

Johnson originally signed with the Pats on May 18th but got released on June 9th because of an injury.

Now, just days before camp opens Johnson gets another chance.

Last season Johnson caught 60 passes for 608 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Black Bears.

The current Patriots roster lists 9 other wide receivers.
