Playing Pokemon Go In Central Maine? Now There’s A Map For That!

It seems everyone is playing Pokemon Go these days, which is amazing for a game that no one had really heard of just a month or two ago. But now it seems like it's here to say and there's even a handy interactive map to help you out!

The Bangor Daily News has put together this great, editable map of Pokestops and gyms throughout the state, so players can get a leg up as they travel throughout Maine hunting Pokemon this summer.

The map is being updated every day, so if there are ones that you know about that aren't on there, you can help out by adding them.

For now, here are some of the Central Maine Pokestop highlights listed on the map:

• Calumet Club, West River Road Augusta
• The American Legion Veterans' Memorial -in front of the American Legion Department of Maine, Verti Drive in Winslow
• In front of Mirakuya Japanese Restaurant, JFK Plaza, Waterville
• Cutting Memoral Park, Waterville
• Civil War Memorial, Elm and Park streets Waterville (there are 2 there)
• Richmond Post Office, Main Street, Richmond
• One Post Office Square, Waterville
• Haines Park, Waterville
