Police in Gardiner are investigating a robbery at the Spring Street Rite Aid earlier this morning (Aug. 21)According to a report on the Kennebec Journal's website, a male suspect allegedly went into the pharmacy claiming he had a gun and demanded prescription drugs.

The report said no one was injured in the incident and police said they are looking for a man approximately 5 foot-6 inches tall weighing about 150 pounds who was wearing a black shirt with orange lettering.

The newspaper report said that this is the third pharmacy robbery in the area this month and police are still looking for a suspect in a Monday robbery at an IGA in Randolph, which is across the river from the Rite Aid in Gardiner.
