According to Tim Feeley, spokesman for the state attorney general’s office, Ambroshia Fagre, 18, of Oakland, died earlier today after the police involved shooting Friday in Vassalboro.

Deceased man identified. Victim identified as Maine Golf Hall Of Famer Dickie Browne who was unhurt.

According to Central Maine Newspapers, the man shot and killed yesterday in Vassalboro was Kadhar Bailey, 25, of Gardiner. The woman shot and wounded is Ambroshia Fagre, 18, of Oakland, according to Tim Feeley, at the state attorney general’s office.

Browne's home was broken into late Friday afternoon. Bailey allegedly pulled a gun on him, and tied him up in his basement. Later, Bailey stole Browne's truck and when he was confronted by police, Bailey rammed the truck into a state trooper's cruiser, and was then shot and killed by police.

Browne, who's family owns Natanis Golf Course, was shaken up, but unhurt.

Browne's son Taylor posted this on his Facebook page earlier.

Central Maine Newspapers are reporting that there was an incident on Arnold Road in Vassalboro, which is off Webber Pond Road, and police were investigating.

WCSH6 reported shots were fired in the incident, and both police and ambulance crews responded. State police said a man and a woman were in a vehicle when confronted by police. After an altercation, they were both shot. The man is dead. The woman was taken to the hospital.
