State Police say they are looking for two Waterville women for questioning in connection with a stabbing of a third woman last night in China.

According to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland, Carrisa Butkewicz, 23, and Tiffany Glidden,20,  are being sought for questioning in connection with the stabbing of 24-year-old Katherine Hopkins of Waterville. During the night, Hopkins was listed in critical, but stable condition at MaineGeneral in Augusta, McCausland said. Troopers say Hopkins was stabbed while sitting in a vehicle on the Neck Road in China about 6:45 p.m.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Butkewicz or Glidden is asked to call State Police in Augusta at 624-7076, or 911.
