I don't know about you, but the person I am at work vs the person I am at home (or in my personal life) are 2 different personalities.  Whenever you start a new job or a new coworker joins the team, it seems the first thing that people do is friend request each other on Facebook.  But is this really a good idea?

Should your coworkers know the details of your 'personal' life?  If you share something that might offend a coworker, it could lead to workplace conflict.  Since the start of Facebook, and my previous jobs, I've often found myself asking this very question.  But, if you don't accept their friend request, that could cause a conflict as well.

What's your opinion?
