Darla Neugebauer, the owner of Marcy's Diner in Portland is getting national attention after an incident that took place in her restaurant Saturday.  A 2- year old girl was sitting with her parents and was crying because they were denying her pancakes they had ordered.  The crying was disrupting the staff and other customers.  As a result, the owner slammed her hands down on the counter and told the girl to be quiet.

Guess what?  The little girl stopped.  After that, the mother took to Facebook where she complained about the incident.  Representing Marcy's Diner, Neugebauer responded to the FB comment.  She is standing by her actions, however others are swearing to never visit Marcy's Diner again saying her behavior was uncalled for.
