Pres. Trump Appoints Bill Belichick to Sports Council

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has been appointed, by President Trump, to his Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.

The idea of the project is to get kids to play sports. There will be several great athletes on the council with Belichick. Mariano Rivera, Herchel Walker, three time Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist Misty May-Treanor and Dr. Oz are some of the members to the council.

According to weei.com this is not the first of its kind. During the Obama administration, the group then, prioritized nutrition. This group will encourage kids to get outside and play sports.
