President Obama Considers Mandatory Voting

President Obama is considering the idea of making it mandatory to vote in the United States.

The President was recently talking in Ohio on the subject of voting rights and campaign finance. He believes that voting in the U.S. should be easier and not harder.

He noted that Australia and other countries make voting mandatory, adding that if everyone voted in the country it would completely change the political map.

President Obama thinks mandatory voting would help take the influence of money out of elections.
