There has been a lot of talk about shark attacks around the world this summer. It does seem like the number of attacks have been up. Experts say the chance of being killed by a shark is 1 in four million. It still would be a terrible way to go.

Recently during a surfing competition in South Africa, professional surfer Mick Fanning from Australia was attacked by a shark live on camera. He got pulled underwater but was rescued by Jet Ski workers. The competition was stopped and Fanning and Julian Wilson slit the prize money.
