‘Question Of The Day': Do You Favor Longer Work Days and a Shorter Work Week?
The world's second richest man, Carlos Slim, is supporting an idea that workers shift to a three-day work work. The trade off would be 11-hour work days and workers staying staying on the job to age 70.
The idea of working longer hours per day and less days per week seems to be a popular idea with employees. A 2008 survey of workers by the Families and Work Institute found that 46% of those offered the option of a compressed work week chose the option part of the time.
