It was a tradition when I was going to Edward Little High School in Auburn, Maine. On football game day, the players would wear their jersey and the cheerleaders would wear their uniforms.

A high school in Mississippi, Northwest Rankin High School, have decided that the school's cheer and dance team uniforms are no longer appropriate to wear to class on game day.

The policy change has upset several parents of the school's cheerleaders.

The cheerleaders were told their uniforms violate the school dress code.

The cheerleaders and dance team members can wear their uniform to class on game day if they wear pants or knee-length shorts underneath their uniforms.

So, what do you think? Do you think this long time tradition of wearing the uniforms on game day should stand? Or do you agree with the change in the policy?
