Maine State Senator Bill Diamond of Windham is proposing restoring the death penalty in Maine. He'd like to restore the death penalty to Maine for people convicted of killing children victimized in pornographic snuff films.

Snuff films are illegal movies that end in the subjects' actual on-camera death.

Diamond, says he does not advocate the death penalty for most cases, is still in the process of researching the bill.

Maine had put 21 people to death from 1644 until 1887, when the death penalty was abolished after a botched execution.

So what do you think? Our 'Question of the Day' is Would you support or be opposed with Maine restoring the death penalty?
