Quick Look at the New England Patriots Playoff Record
Getting ready for the AFC Championship game between New England and Denver, I was taking a look back at the Patriots playoff record. New England won three Super Bowls, 2002, 2004 and 2005. The have lost three Super Bowls, 1986, 1997 and 2008.
The Patriots won an AFL Championship in 1964 and have won six AFC Championships and lost one. Super Bowl wins came against Philadelphia in 2005, 24-21…Carolina in 2004, 32-19…and in 2002 against St. Louis, 20-17.
Super Bowl loses were against the NY Giants in 2008, 17-14…Green Bay Packers in 1997, 35-21 and in 1986 against the Chicago Bears, 46-10.
