It may seem like the bowl season is almost over but there are still twelve games left which includes the National Championship game. The bowl season extends through January 4 with championship game played on Monday, January 12 in Arlington, Texas.

Chick-Fil-A Bowl: TCU (12-1) dominated Ole Miss (9-4) 42-3. TCU scored 14 points in the first quarter as Ole Miss QB Bo Wallace threw two interceptions.  Ole Miss had four turnovers in the game and only 129 total yards as the TCU defense held the Rebel’s offense in check. Ole Miss’ defense was ranked first in scoring coming into the game but couldn’t stop TCU’s offense.

Fiesta Bowl: Boise State (12-2) and ranked 20th won over #10 ranked Arizona (10-4) 38-30. Bronco’s running back Jay Ajayi rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns ending his career at Boise State with a school record 28 touchdowns. Arizona QB Anu Solomon, trying to tie the score deep inside Boise State territory was sacked to stop the threat.

Orange Bowl: Georgia Tech (11-3) beat Mississippi State (10-3) 49-34. Georgia Tech QB Justin Thomas threw for 125 yards and a touchdown and ran for 121 yards and three touchdowns. The game broke open in the third quarter when the Yellow Jackets scored 21 points. Georgia Tech racked up 452 yards rushing.
