Randy’s College Football Wrap Up

Two more bowl game played in this early part of the season. In the Poinsettia Bowl Navy beat San Diego State 17-16. Navy had a 13 yard gain on a crucial fourth down on the game-winning drive. It was a sloppy game by both teams with 7 turnovers in the game.

The Boca Raton Bowl showed how consistent Marshall could score by scoring 52 points in the game. Marshall scored 40 or more points in 11 games this season. Northern Illinois had trouble scoring early and could only score 23 points.

Two games on tap today (Dec. 24^th)…Bahamas Bowl with Central Michigan vs Western Kentucky and the Hawaii Bowl with Fresno State vs Rice.
