Salvation Army Is Taking Applications For Thanksgiving

The holidays can be stressful for anybody, but when you struggle financially, it can make this time very depressing.  The Salvation Army is taking applications for Thanksgiving.  They will be donating food baskets and either items to those who need it.

Do you or somebody you know qualify under the Federal Low Income Guidelines?  Do you live in: Augusta, Sidney, Hallowell, Winslow. Chelsea or Waterville?  Then you can sign-up for assistance at The Salvation Army.

Locations:
Waterville: 184 College Ave.
Augusta: 36 Eastern Ave

Dates:
October 7 (9am-noon & 12:30-2pm)
October 8 (3pm-7pm)
October 9 (9am-noon & 12:30-2pm)

Remember to bring:

• Picture I.D.
• Birth certificates or social security cards for ALL children in household
• Copy of current income tax OR verification of ALL house income/expenses (pay stubs, TANF, SSI, etc)
• Proof of residency
