Sarah Is Gifted Some Cottle’s Place Waterpark Treasures

Back in July, I did a little reminicing down memory lane during the Morning Buzz.  I remembered going to a waterpark in Waterville when I'd visit with my family, in Maine, during the summer.  I reached out to listeners to see if anyone else remembered this or was it merely a figment of my imagination.  

Cottle's Place did, in fact, exist.  Many people contacted me with pictures and their own memories of the 'Children's Water and Amusement Park' in Central Maine.  Too my surprise, the owner visited me during one of my remotes during our Tanksgiving Food Drive back in November.  And, oh my word...first apologize to her because I already forgot her name!! (SHAME ON ME!!...But I did have brain surgery this year...so I'm playing that card)  During my visit with 'Mrs. Cottle's Place', she gifted me an original Cottle's Place tshirt and brochure.  Both, in pristine condition!

I'm honored that she felt me worthy enough of such treasures!  I will cherish them forever!
