It's easy to have a love hate relationship with Fall.  Recently, I did a story about why I dislike this season.  It's easy to complain about something...it's often the path of least resistance.  Many reasons I frown on Fall include: Holidays, buying oil, kids bringing cooties home from school, everyone wearing blaze orange & pumpkin EVERYTHING.

Yesterday, I was reminded that there is good in everything and of the beauty the Autumn season provides us.  The joys that do come with it.  It really is a beautiful season.  I was helping my mom rake her leaves.  They were perfectly dry crisp leaves.  They smelled so good...like clean fresh air.  It immediately reminded me of my childhood.  Raking the leaves into piles and jumping into them.  So, I decided to rake the leaves up and have them waiting for the kids.  Watching the kids jump and play, without a care in the world, made me instantly miss my childhood and all the joys that come with it.

There's a very short time to really appreciate what Fall has to offer...so remember to slow down, seize the day and take it all in.
