Self Serve Beer Machine at All Star Game

The home of the Minnesota Twins, Target Field, will host the All Star game on July 15^th, Target Field is also the home of Major League Baseball’s first beer vending machine. It’s called DraftServe and there is only one on site but a second will be added by the time the All Star game is played.

It works by going to a cash register and showing you I.D., then you can buy a card for $10 or $20 but for the All Star game $50 cards will be available.  You scan your card and you can regulate how much you want and can pour up to 48 ounces every 15 minutes. There will be a person at the beer vending machine to double check I.D.’s if necessary and to turn people away if they seem to have had one too many.
