Here's a mistake I often see people making on Facebook.  They assume that if they read it on the social media website, well then it must be true.  A famous quote I often find myself inspired to read is: 'The problem with quotes found on the internet is that they are often not true' - Abe Lincoln.

Today I was scrolling Facebook...I get paid to do it.  When this 'BAN COKE PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT ISIS' hoopla came up in my newsfeed.  Immediately, I thought that's false.  Which, led me to investigate.  According to snopes.com this is an outdated claim.  They asked Coca-Cola about this and here's what they had to say about it:

Just to be really really sure...I looked at the other names on the bottles in this picture.  The next name that stands out is 'Govert'.  Hhhmm.  So I looked up 'Govert' and here's what I got:

So there ya have it.  Coca-Cola is NOT suggesting that we 'Share a Coke' with Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.  Let's use our rationalization portion of our brain a little more before clicking that infamous 'SHARE' button.
