Sharon’s Never Had A Sloppy Joe…Until Now!

It was just one of those things Mom never made. Sure, we had homemade spaghetti sauce and she is a great cook. Just never had a Sloppy Joe.

Until last night!

Chad and I were talking about foods I have never eaten before. The list included fiddleheads, Jax Real Cheddar Cheese Curls and Sloppy Joes.

Never having Sloppy Joes was incredulous, he said. And as we were shopping for groceries this weekend he put THREE cans of Manwich in the cart.

I guess that meant we were having them. Soon.

Last night I made them. It was easy! Brown a pound of hamburger and add a can of Manwich.

Well, it would have been easy had I had a can opener. I had thrown ours away the day before because it didn't work anymore. Luckily, I saw Chad's Leatherman and, of course, there was a can opener on it!

I don't think I've ever seen the kids eat so fast! And I have to admit they are good!

Looks like Sloppy Joes are going to be more common in our house from now on.
